B-School of Rock Open Entries

B-School of Rock- Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore’s answer to the various other nationwide battle of the bands competitions has returned for the second time this year.

The second edition very much like the first has been launched in search of semi-pro bands that compose original music.

As part of IIM-B’ annual college fest Unmaad, the battle of the bands is one event that can be tagged as an absolute crowd puller.

Bands interested can start sending in their entries immediately. The names of the bands shortlisted to compete will be announced by the second week of September along with the headlining act. Previous headliners include the legendary Jethro Tull and Pakistan’s best fusion act of recent years, Jal.

To be considered as a competing band please send in the following details to unmaad.bsor2009@gmail.com , latest by 10th September 2009:

1.A brief profile of your band (including band name and band members)

2. Competitions won and performances given

3. An original composition (OC) in .mp3 format

*Note that having an original composition is a necessary criterion to be able to participate.

Bands which are shortlisted for the event will be notified a week after the deadline.
