RadioVeRVe adds another feather to its cap with Gaurav winning the Indian leg of the ‘International Young Music Entrepreneur of the Year - 2008‘ award conducted by the British Council. We now get to present in the UK for a completely new panel of judges and show our presentations and ideas and also attend ‘London Calling’, one of the biggest music expo’s in the world!

Taking part in this event will push the whole enterprise up a couple of notches and not to mention the possibilities of association and collaboration with like minded people which is mindblowing to think of! Winning it of course will be unbeatable but that we shall leave for later! right now … let the feeling sink in

The Konkani channel has been showing quite a bit of progress and we have yet another update for you folks! We just added to the station, 2 albums by Lloyd Austin Rego and one album by Pax n Joe which features stars in the Indian Music scene like Usha Uthup and Remo Fernandes! So tune in … and yenjoy!

We are in the process of getting to Goa and Bombay and get Konkani music from there as well as try to expand to other regional languages. If any of you can help us with this .. do get in touch with us at music at radioverve dot com!

Also .. do let your friends and family know that there is some amazing Konkani music playing at a radio station near them and get them all to come here and listen!

We seem to be chugging along quite rapidly with more and more music coming our way! We have just added two new albums to the Konkani Channel, Gration D’Souza’s “Grations Konkani Melodies” and Alwyn Fernandes’ “Dini Dini”.

These albums showcase the diversity in Konkani music that is being made today. While Gration’s Konkani Melodies is a more traditional Konkani album feature a variety of singers, Dini Dini is a contemporary Konkani album. Some fresh and interesting experimentation by Alwyn Fernandes and featuring some of India’s biggest singers including Vasundhara Das, Sunidhi Chauhan, GuruKiran etc..

But this is by no means complete, we have just about scratched the surface of Konkani music that exists today and a LOT more has to be featured here. We need your help with that. If you know anyone who makes Konkani music and would like to have their music featured here on RadioVeRVe, write to us at music at radioverve dot com and we will definitely get their music on RadioVeRVe!
