RadioVeRVe adds another feather to its cap with Gaurav winning the Indian leg of the ‘International Young Music Entrepreneur of the Year - 2008‘ award conducted by the British Council. We now get to present in the UK for a completely new panel of judges and show our presentations and ideas and also attend ‘London Calling’, one of the biggest music expo’s in the world!
Taking part in this event will push the whole enterprise up a couple of notches and not to mention the possibilities of association and collaboration with like minded people which is mindblowing to think of! Winning it of course will be unbeatable but that we shall leave for later! right now … let the feeling sink in

Its been a while since we saw some action on the site and the new year brings with it some wonderful news! For starters, we finally got around to sitting and getting a long standing idea working!
“Freedom Jam Radio” is up and running!
RadioVeRVe in association with GuruSkool Music is proud to bring you ‘Freedom Jam Radio’, the place where you can get the best bits of the Sunday Jam and Freedom Jam held in Bangalore and also listen to songs by bands that played at the Jam.
We feature live clips and interviews with bands, the audience, the organizers and everyone present and try to re-create on RadioVeRVe, the magic that is the Sunday Jam!
This is just the beginning … this is where the real music happens!

Its been a long time since we had this in mind and we definitely needed someone to come to us and go the distance with us! and the organizers of Rocktaves-07 from BITS, Pilani did just that! They took the step and saw it through
This is the first step to try and take RadioVeRVe back to the people who make it happen and take it beyond the Internet. We have always wanted to complement events around the country featuring musicians we support and for the first time, we managed to do just that!
So head over to http://radioverve.com/Rocktaves and listen to the finalists of Roctaves - 07, the electric competition being conducted as part of Oasis-07 at BITS, Pilani.
The competition happens on the 16th of October and watch this space for updates as they happen!
