Groove Lab are funk band from Mumbai. Their strength is their neat renditions of RHCP etc,. Their rythmn section has a nice groovy feel, though strangely the vocalist seems to have a penchant for wearing dark glasses at odd dawn hours. Their stage presence adds to their music to make a good package when playing live. The drummer Jay incidentally, also plays for Pin Drop Violence. Seamless funk and soul grooves made them the sort of typical Mumbai band, great fun to listen and watch.
